This scarf was designed and handknitted by me using two colourways of a gorgeous luxury yarn dyed and spun by Japanese colour and texture master Eisaku Noro. Using the entrelac knitting technique, squares in different colours, knitted at right angles to each other result in stunning effects as the colours mix and match.
Comprised of 45% silk, 45% kid mohair, 10% lambswool and bordered with soft 60% merino 30% possum 10% silk yarn this is a beautiful piece to wear. The silk produces a beautiful lustre that shows off the colours while the mohair, possum and lambswool offer softness and warmth.

The pattern compliments the unique properties of this yarn producing a soft, drapey garment that shows of the wonderful colour transitions.
Given the nature of the yarn no two could ever be identical, so yours may vary slightly from the one pictured - but you wouldn't want yours to be the same as someone elses anyway, would you?!.
