il nido meaning 'the nest' in italian, started as a designer apron business in Auckland, New Zealand in 2012 after a trip to London refueled a passion for beautiful fabrics and travel. However, having come from 15 years in the fashion industry with a slight obsession with homewares, this was never going to be just about aprons. The collection now includes gorgeous cotton printed pyjamas, cosmetic purses and screen printed cushions on natural linens and cottons. There is also a small range of very popular laser cut jewellery stands. Everything is proudly New Zealand made.
