Micara

Sara started making jewellery in 2004 creating wire wrapped pendants, earrings and bracelets.  This enabled her to learn the many aspects involved in jewellery design and manufacture.

After a trip to Ireland in 2005 she was inspired by the symbolisms used by the Celts and discovered the art of chainmaille jewellery.  By combining her knowledge of bead wrapping and chainmaille, she now works almost exclusively in Sterling Silver.  Sara exhibits her work in several Galleries around New Zealand.
