Poster for the 7th N.Z. International Grand Prix motor racing event held at Ardmore on January 9th 1960. Re-printed by NZ Fine Prints as part of our series celebrating vintage NZ advertising poster design. The NZ Grand Prix of this period was arguably the heyday of NZ car racing, with homegrown stars such as Bruce McClaren and Chris Amon competing and winning against famous drivers like Jackie Stewart and Stirling Moss. The 1960 NZ Grand Prix was won by the legendary Jack Brabham of Australia.
