This scarf was designed and handknitted by me using a gorgeous luxury yarn dyed and spun by Japanese colour and texture master Eisaku Noro. It was inspired by the winter colours and stone textures of Cambridge, England where I lived for some time.
Comprised of 45% silk, 45% kid mohair, 10% lambswool and bordered with a touch of soft 70% merino 30% possum yarn this is a beautiful piece of attire. The silk produces a beautiful lustre that shows off the colours while the mohair and lambswool offer softness and warmth.
The handle of the yarn, and the gentle colour transitions make this a very special item. No two could be identical so yours may differ slightly from the one shown. But you wouldn't want yours to be exactly the same as someone elses would you!
This colourway of yarn has been discontinued so this is the last scarf in these colours that will ever be available.
