These earrings are part of my, 'Altered Timepiece' jewellery collection. They have been crafted from the inside of a vintage ladies watch. Here the entire watch is on display. Usually hidden from sight now the internal components of a watch are able to be seen. Five of the industrial rubies are visible on each earring as well as the balance bridge with its little + and - signs to assist the watchmaker in his adjustments. The lovely silver machined wheels and cogs as well as the golden balance wheels are on show and able to move.
My timepiece jewellery has been created with all stainless steel findings, which are hypoallergenic and suit the industrial feel of the design.
The watch is 1.8cm long and 1.5cm wide. it is set on a French lever back earring to avoid it being lost.
Your earrings will be presented on a gift card that explains the nature of their design.
