These earrings use an original French Stamp shows image of Uzerche town in the Correze department - The Vezere river, the Castle, and the Abbey Church, circa 1956. It is a stunning pair of stamps and there are several in the series all with beautiful drawings of France in subtle monotone. These earrings make use of a single stamp and have been framed to include the paris postmark. I love that this stamp may have been on a love letter, or letter from a mother to a daughter, father to a son. Posted in Paris and sent across the world.
Each stamp is different and may show a little of the postmark which is quite a lovely addition. This is a one off stamp so the postmark you see will be in your earrings.
Earrings are made with the original stamp treated set under glass. They come in a range of beautiful hypoallergenic settings. Choose from a French Lever Back Style or an Elegant Drop. The drop earrings have rubber stoppers on them to prevent loss.
Your earrings will be presented on a card that explains their special qualities before being gift wrapped and carefully packaged.
