I am thrilled that you like them. They are lovely and as you say each watch movement has come from a different watch hence the slight differences. You may notice that there are some little red spots within the silver mechanism and these are the industrial rubies set into the movements. Watch makers use the industrial rubies on points of wear and contact as they are harder than metal, and so reduce the wear and tear to the watch and extend its life. The Coin Cufflinks are just perfect for your situation and I try very hard to accommodate your needs. Sadly some years were not minted and some coins have become rare.
I love the idea that old coins can be used again as precious items and try to set them in a way that protects and preserves them without damaging the coins.
